Sidwell House is a new and private upmarket self-catering guest house in George, South Africa.

This charming, thatched house commands magnificent, unobstructed views of the Outeniqua Mountains and imparts a genuine holiday home atmosphere.

Located next door to the world-famous Fancourt Hotel and country club estate in the quiet suburb Heather Park, Sidwell House is ideal for business stays, family holidays or golfing holidays and for those who simply enjoy the odd game.

Sleeping eight, it is perfectly suited to four couples, two fourballs or one or two families.

Children are welcome and small pets can be accommodated by prior arrangement.

Sidwell House is also only 2 minutes from a Virgin Active gym, 5 minutes from the hospital and 10 minutes from the airport, the town centre and Garden Route Mall. The beaches of Herolds Bay and Victoria Bay are also in very close proximity.

It is available for international house exchange as well as for movie shoots on a daily rental.

Rates

Rates for the entire house (maximum 8 persons)

R800 per night max 8 persons (out of season)
R2,500 per night max 8 persons (December holiday)

A 50 % deposit is required to confirm booking.

Directions

Directions From Cape Town take the N2 towards Port Elizabeth. Carry on past Mosselbay and take the Heroldsbay/George Airport turnoff. Turn left at the stop street and go past George airport and past Fancourt on the Montagu Road. Follow the road to the right onto Witfontein Road. Carry on over the stop street and another stop. Turn right into Wattle road at the stop street. Turn right into the last road, Meent Street. SIDWELL HOUSE is on the left on the corner of Meent Street and Sidwell Street.
