The accommodation offered consists of several freestanding log cabins all with sea views. Comfortably decorated in a African Bushveld theme, each chalet offers superb facilities.

Awake to the call of a Wildebeest. Enjoy the tranquility of grazing game, such as Springbuck, Bluewildebeest and Bontebok which roam around freely a few meters from the log cabin patios.

Situated 10km outside George, Kwelanga Country Retreat is an ideal base from which to explore the attractions of the Garden Route. Return after a day of sightseeing and retire amongst great company and good food.

Kwelanga Country Retreat is situated on the coastal highland near George, providing sweeping views across the Indian Ocean . Possessing one of the grandest vistas in the region, the visiblity stretches many kilometres, from the beaches of Wilderness, clear to the lighthouse of Mossel Bay.

 Kwelanga Country Retreat also offers a large on-site restaurant, cozy bar, full-sized swimming pool and a jungle gym for the children.  There is also a modern air-conditioned conference room with overhead data projector and other facilities

Accommodation

Accommodation offered consists of two types of freestanding log cabins, all with its own private deck and sea-view.  The inviting atmosphere of each cabin is an invitation to each guest to enjoy their stay just one day longer.  All our cabins are fully air-conditioned.

Single Bedroom Cabins

 The single chalets consists out of a double bed with en-suit bathroom, a bar fridge and coffee/tea station and TV.

Family cabins

The larger cabins cater for couples with children or travelling groups. These consist of a double bed in the master bedroom, two single beds in the second bedroom, bathroom with shower, kitchenette and a separate lounge area, with a sleeping couch and TV.

All our chalets at Kwelanga Country Retreat has their own private deck, with a stunning sea-view,  are fully air-conditioned, supplied with all linen and towels, and are serviced on a daily basis.
